Bobby Cook’s angelic voice and epic soundscapes are so instantly recognisable you’d be sure he has been in the music game for years. They carry an air of esoteric craftsmanship well beyond his young years and at the age of 22 Bobby Cook has produced some of the finest songs Clash has heard in a long time.
Take the debut release on Slogan Records (home of The Fall), ‘Gone So Far’; it’s a heady mix of gorgeous harmonies, spiralling guitar and lush vocals. His live shows are intimate and yet intense – think Jeff Buckley circa 1994 - and even though the band are very much accomplished musicians it really is about Bobby, he is as much a star on record as he is in the flesh - the male and females in attendance will both be dazzled by his chiselled looks and emotional intensity on stage.
