M.I.A. + Ukuleles = ?!?!

What comes to your mind when you think of M.I.A.?

Her 21st Century mash of musics? Her politicised upbringing? Her globe spanning childhood and one-time immigrant status? The accusations of glamorising terrorism?

Well, as highlighted in out top tracks of 2008, her 'Paper Planes' tune was one of 2008's musical highlights and , thanks to it's use in nu-stoner film 'Pineapple Express', has enjoyed hefty exposure Stateside.

and my favourite...

An honourable (non-ukelele based cover) mention goes to...
