Born in Belfast, George Ivan Morrison has went on to have a profound affect on popular music. After virtually defining garage rock with his first band Them, Van Morrison has underwent a singular journey mixing jazz, folk, rock and poetry to outstanding critical acclaim. Unclassifiable album "Astral Weeks" may well be his classic - a deeply spiritual work focussing on his childhood.
