Babylon's Burning

Legendary second wave punk band. Fuelled by inner city anger and a healthy supply of dub the band represented a link to the original scene when many punk bands were becoming increasingly experiemental. The death of original singer Malcolm Owen due to a heroin overdose robbed the band of much of their energy, though they did continue for two years as The Ruts DC. The original line up reformed with US punk legend Henry Rollins on vocals for a gig in 2006, in aid of guitarist Paul Fox who had been confirmed with cancer.
