Sune Rose Wagner is a classy guy. The Raveonettes head honcho has placed a distinctive Scandinavian stamp on the indie rock scene over the last seven years, ignoring the prevailing winds and sticking with his own unique programme. In partnership with delectable compatriot Sharin Foo, Wagner continues to follow a path of unashamedly retro Fifties pop, complete with classic B-movie cover art. His band also, it seems, ignore the traditional rock and roll rocket fuel. The Raveonettes run on grape juice.
