Unfurling like a Midwest cult proclaiming their warped practices to be harbingers of rock ‘n’ roll excess, it’s hard to believe these chaps are from Scotland. Imagine Alabama 3 jamming with Battles and you are getting warm. ‘Burial Sounds’ is as chilling as the muffled scrape of wet earth being piled onto your freshly-nailed coffin lid.
