Michael Angelakos’ accidental stumbling into fame has now ballooned into a Boston based five-piece band, Passion Pit, which surfs on electro-pop moments akin to Saint Etienne having a sleazy fondue with Solvent. Opening for the likes of Death Cab For Cutie has galvanised the band to boldly go forth, and now an LP this year looks likely.
