Iron And Wine For End Of The Road

Dorset event expands bill

American songwriter Iron And Wine has been added to the bill for the new instalment of End Of The Road.

The past decade has seen the British festival circuit diversify in new and exciting ways. The rise of the boutique festival has allowed music fans across the country to indulge their tastes, with a number of unusual events springing up.

Set in Dorset’s Larmer Tree Gardens the forthcoming instalment of End Of The Road looks to be the best yet. Combining music with arts and drama, the event is a three day celebration of the arts.

Taking place between September 10th – 12th the event boasts a number of spectacular performers. Californian songwriter Iron And Wine is set to make the journey to Dorset for a rare appearance.

Real name Sam Beam, Iron & Wine is perhaps one of the most striking songwriters of his generation. Joining the American artist on the bill are returning Canadian indie rock types The New Pornographers.

With a new album on the horizon the band are due to drop past End Of The Road. Organisers are working hard to add new names to the bill, with newcomers such as Cate Le Bon and Django Django due to appear.

The newcomers join some well established headliners. American alt country stars Wilco are due to perform at the event, with Jeff Tweedy & Co. having a glittering back catalogue to draw on.

End Of The Road takes place between September 10th – 12th.
