Glamourous glam-infused electro pop

British electro pop duo. After the relative flop of their first, ambient, album "Felt Mountain" the band reconvened and decided on an approach influeced as much by glam rock as electronica. The resulting work - "Black Cherry" - was extremely successful, and saw lead singer Alison Goldfrapp progress to star pin up. She has also become a style symbol, with her elaborate stage dress (including horse's tail!) and backing dancers as much as part of Goldfrapp as the music.
