Filthy Dukes Confirm UK Tour Dates

'Nonsense In The Dark' continues

Naughty electro types Filthy Dukes are set to hit the road after confirming a lengthy UK tour.

Filthy Dukes began life as the DJs behind the cult London clubnight ‘Kill Em All’. Attracting huge crowds the DJs decided that the only people who really knew their dancefloor was themselves, and began crafting their own tracks.

Debut single ‘Tupac Robot Club Rock’ was a love or loathe it hit. Basically a novelty hip-house track it borrowed the skills of rap group Plastic Little. Following this with a series of cutting edge releases, Filthy Dukes established themselves as producers in their own right.

Debut LP ‘Nonsense In The Dark’ was released earlier this year, with Filthy Dukes proving that they can last the pace across a full length album. The production team are now set to re-visit their debut single with a new version of ‘Tupac Robot Club Rock’.

Teaming up with Wiley, the new version could be set to crack the charts wide open. Before the single is released however Filthy Dukes have the small matter of a Bestival slot to contend with, as the dynamic duo get set for some Isle Of Wight action.

Playing the Big Top, Filthy Dukes have been hard at work preparing some surprises for the Bestival crowd. When your audience comes dressed in all manner of crazy outfits it helps to have a few tricks up your sleeve!

Opening with a slot in Edinburgh’s Caberet Voltaire the new UK tour winds its way around the nation in one of the group’s biggest jaunts to date. Taking in a show at London’s Dingwalls venue the tour ends with a free shows in Leeds on November 28th.
