Dutch Uncles Add In-Store Dates

XOYO show re-scheduled

Fast rising Manchester types Dutch Uncles are set to play a series of free in-store dates across the UK.

Wrapped in hype, the much vaunted Manchester indie revival seems to have largely disappeared. However away from the press attention, the city’s musicians have been doing exactly what they have always done – write great songs.

Dutch Uncles were roped into the press-invented ‘scene’ last year, but have a maverick streak which belies any label. Completing their debut album, the band have confirmed details of their new single ‘Cadenza’.

Due for release on April 25th, ‘Cadenza’ opens with a biting keyboard riff before a loping guitar line enters. Somewhere between Italo-Disco and a sea shanty, Dutch Uncles are confident enough to through several different influences together.

The track has been given a remix by Delphic. Also from Manchester, the band are working on their second album but took time out to help the fast rising four piece.
