Deerhunter are an Atlanta, Georgia five-piece band whose unique sound the musicians themselves term 'ambient punk'. Lead singer of the band, Bradford Cox would say that their "defining influences" are Echo & The Bunnymen, Brian Eno, David Bowie and My Bloody Valentine.
Their 2008 album titled "Microcastle" reached number 17 on Clash magazine's 40 Best Albums of 2008.
