Crystal Castles Abandon Tour

UK Dates Scrapped

Electro-punk duo Crystal Castles have cancelled their British tour, which was set to begin on the 2nd of September.

The band have cited ‘recording commitments’ for the reason behind the cancellation. The duo have recently also been stirring up debate over the ownership of their controversial ‘black-eyed Madonna’ t-shirt, which artist Trevor Brown claims the band were never given distribution rights to.

The band have however confirmed they will still play London’s Electric Ballroom on September 18th, as well as Reading And Leeds, Jersey Live, Hydro Connect and Electric Picnic events.

The cancelled dates are
Newcastle Academy (September 2)
Sheffield Leadmill (3)
Leeds Cockpit (4)
Coventry Kasbah (7)
Nottingham Rescue Rooms (9)
Bristol Thekla (10)
Birmingham Academy 2 (12)
Manchester Academy 2 (13)
Preston 53 Degress (14)
Brighton Concorde (16)
Cambridge Junction (17)
