Cold War Kids know a thing or two about basking in the heat, coming from California, and are well versed in the art of soundtracking those blissful moments with the most perfect sounds. It’s therefore ironic that this summer, while you’re trawling round the festivals trying to find a bar queue that doesn’t stretch to the front gates and sweating like a jailbird whore in the solstice sun, they’re undoubtedly going to be a stand-out band of the weekend, and will no doubt go on to soundtrack your sunny days and holiday adventures.
