Bruce Springsteen

Hailed as the future of rock 'n' roll by journalist (and future manager) Jon Landau, Springsteen emerged from the bars of New Jersey to conquer the world. The Wagnerian rock of "Born To Run" was followed by a career that has veered between stadium bombast and hushed, acoustic driven Americana. Still an important artist, Springsteen continues to entertain huge crowds around the world with mammoth sets that often last for three hours or more (not including encores - plural intended!).
