It’s incredible that in the twenty-odd years that Björk has been making music, the average person’s perception of her is still so instantly one-dimensional. For some she will always be the quirky Icelandic songstress, for many others she is one of the few musicians around who has proved to be ceaselessly innovative in her expression.
