Billy Childish

The most influential man you've never heard of

Musician, artist, writer and resolute rabble rouser, Billy Childish has rollicked through a terrific range of bands since forming The Pop Rivets in 1977. He then went on to form The Milkshakes, Thee Mighty Ceasars, The Blackhands and Thee Headcoats and is currently causing riot with The Buff Medways who cut a fine dash with their Victorian army uniforms and vintage Vox amps. Touted as an inspiration by behemoths like Kurt Cobain, Beck, Jack White and even Madonna, Childish has been an avatar of everything from thrash-folk to garage-punk.
