Radiohead – Reading Festival

Brings tears to our eyes...

Multi award-winning group Radiohead stormed Reading and Leeds at the weekend, and ClashMusic were there every step of the way.

One of the most acclaimed bands of their generation, Radiohead recently stunned fans by releasing new material. First the group released ‘Harry Patch’ as a tribute to one of Britain’s last veterans of the First World War.

Then rumours emerged of a new track, taken from their ongoing recording sessions. Released as ‘These Are My Twisted Words’ the new material seems to be following in the vein of their industry busting collection ‘In Rainbows’.

Radiohead took to the stage at Reading festival aware of their pedigree, but lived up to the considerable hype. Opening with their early single ‘Creep’ the band rushed through their back catalogue, pausing only to debut a brand new, never before heard track.
