Norwegian producer Lindstrom has lined up two live dates in the UK later this year.
Lindstrom seems to have a split personality. The Norwegian producer is capable of producing dreamy slices of avant electronica, with last year's 'Six Cups Of Rebel' full length showcasing his more cerebral side. Now, though, the producer seems to be veering in the opposite direction.
Food themed release 'Smalhans' drops on November 5th and is all 4/4 techno rhythms, with Lindstrom's collection of analogue synths being pushed to within an inch of their lives. Looking ahead, Lindstrom has confirmed plans for two UK shows.
Taking place in Liverpool and London, it seems that these will act as a quick preview for anyone wondering just how 'Smalhans' is going to turn out. Hitting Liverpool on October 27th, the producer will also play newly re-furbished London venue XOYO on October 16th.
Tickets are on sale now.
Fancy finding out more about 'Smalhans'? Here's a quote from Lindstrom.
"Norwegian cuisine is very characteristic. Traditionally a Norwegian dish does not contain much spices, so the taste of the food is very much straight from nature. Some Norwegian food could be considered a bit hardcore for some, but also enviromentally friendly, as it is built on old traditions of using the resources in your immediate surroundings…"
