Brian Eno is set to release his new solo album 'LUX' through Warp Records on November 12th.

Virtually peerless in modern music, Brian Eno's each step is worth waiting for. Seemingly in the grasp of a healthy creative spell, the producer recently completed the collaborative albums 'Small Craft on a Milk Sea' (with Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams) and 'Drums Between The Bells' (with Rick Holland).

Now the producer has confirmed plans for a solo album. 'LUX' will be released on November 12th, and according to the press release we've been sent it resembles ambient touchstones from his own career - think 'Music For Films', 'Music For Airports' and 'Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks'.

Seemingly, Brian Eno views 'LUX' as being a continuation of the 'Music for Thinking' project which includes 'Discreet Music' (1975) and 'Neroli' (1993). Available from November 12th, 'LUX' appears to focus on long form composition: it's a 75 minute long album, consisting of 12 sections which have evolved from a work currently displayed in the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria in Turin, Italy.

'LUX' will be available on the following formats:

Vinyl (Double 180g DMM-cut LP in gatefold sleeve with 4 x 300x300mm prints and download redemption code card)

CD (CD in gatefold sleeve with 4 x 120x120mm prints) Download

1. LUX 1 (19.22)

2. LUX 2 (18.14)
