British / American singer Antony Hegarty and his band produce unique aethereal pop. Hegarty rose to fame after appearing on Lou Reed's album "The Raven", and together with his band has released two critically acclaimed albums. "I Am A Bird Now", his second album, recieved the Mercury music prize in his native unique, marking some acceptance for the singer in his native country. Hegarty's work commonly use themes of gender uncertainty, and his appearance frequently contains aspects of masculine and feminine identity.
