“Melancholic melodic electronic” are the words Alex uses to describe his music. A hypnotic potion of operatic strings with the depth and space of 21st century dub reggae production, peppered with latin or afro rhythms, grimy electro-breaks and encompassed in broodingly warm bass. He is being touted as a possible player at a table containing a whole litter of talented young producers, people like Dabrye, Luciano and Matthew Dear, but he doesn’t see this, he still aspires to these people.
