Micachu

London’s vast cultural landscape is daunting to some.

Micachu takes it all in her stride. Classical composition, cranking out grime beats, playing the hoover - none of these things are a problem for 21-year-old Mica Levi. She also knows a thing or two about pop music.

This is an A to Z of her London.

"I live in Bow, E3, near the Roman Road Market. It’s really friendly. The estate we live on is great and we’ve got lots of nice neighbours. I love it there. When I’m feeling rich I like to go to Chi Chi’s on Roman Road, but I don’t really go out much. Just the pub or whatever. I’m a student so it’s basically a money thing. I go to the Macbeth because my friends Golden Silvers run a night there called Bronze Club. I’m lucky to be in a competitive environment with bands like them and Man Like Me. Everyone just wants to get their music out so we all put on nights. It happens all over London. I’m studying composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. It’s a fantastic place. They’re really flexible and understanding of the other things I do. There are talented people everywhere."
